Tour description

Visit Győr's AUDI factory! AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft., which develops and manufactures engines for AUDI AG and other companies of the Volkswagen Group. The founding of the company. in 1993 marked the start of construction work on one of the world’s most modern high-tech plants. In partnership with the Ingolstadt plant it also assembles the Audi TT Coupé, the Audi TT Roadster, the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the Audi RS 3 Sportback. We will see  the engine production and the car assembly up close, and discover all the details hidden behind an Audi TT.

Győr boasts the most beautiful Baroque downtown in Hungary. Apart from a short period in its history  the town was free from Turkish occupation, therefore, the new artistic era, the Baroque conquered the city earlier than in the Eastern settlements of the country. During the tour we visit the Downtown, Napoleon’s House, Baroque palaces as Altabak-, Esterhazy-, Fejarvary-house, Bishop Castle and Palace, the Ark of Covenant, the Franciscan Church, the House of Iron Butt, the City Hall, the Benedictine Church and monastery, the Curia Nobilitatis, and the Chatedral, which boast the herm of King Saint Ladislaus.
