Tour description

Vác is one ofe the oldest town of Hungary, its bishopry founded by Stephen I. in the 11th century. During the tour we visit  Vác's Baroque/Neoclassical Chatedral,  the Main Square, which is a blend of Rococo and Baroque mansions, the Dominican Church, the Town Hall, the former Bishop's Palace, the Dunacorso, and the Memento Mori exhibition, which is a uniquity in Europe.

Nagybörzsöny is a small remote village that lies on the western slopes of Börzsöny mountain, rich in natural and arhcitetural beauties. It has become one of the most visited touristical and holiday centres of Börzsöny not only because of its monuments, narrow-gauge train or water-mill but the traditionalism and hospitality of the locals. Homemade, delicious dishes: the Börzsöny-pie, homemade cakes and jams and a variety of smoked meats awaits for you, beside an architectural rarity, the middle-age romanesques church from the times of the Árpád-dynasty (11th century)

The town of Fót is settled on the Pesti Plain. Its main attraction is the roman-catholic church; in romantic style, a work of the famous architecture, Ybl Miklós and the legendary  Fáy vine-press house (at the foot of Somlyó Hill), famous for the Sponge Cake and wine-fruch
